A joke blog to tickle your spleen (or spleens, since "approximately 10% of people have one or more accessory spleens. They may form near the hilum of the main spleen, the junction at which the splenic vessels enter and leave the organ." --Wikipedia)

spider ID page - creepiest spiders I ever saw
Since I'm on a spider kick, I went surfing the internet and found this spider identification page. Some of the biggest, baddest, creepiest spiders I ever saw reside on this page. What is it about spiders that makes them so universally creepy? It's like there's a gene or something that makes us shudder and find them repulsive. More than, say, a beetle or a worm. I could handle those things walking over me a heck of a lot better than some of the monsters on that page!
